We have been to a lot of rugby internationals in our time, I have seen my team win and lose but not once have I felt the need to beat up supporters of the opposing team or indeed considered it was likely to happen to me either.
I’d hazard a guess that the football supporters in question are not looney lefties but Brexit voting, Xenophobic, Racists the type of people Boris Johnson and his mates are looking for. Having said that we did spot a Sikh in the crowd at the kickoff poor bloke must have wondered what he’d got into. It's because the looney lefties have decreed that we can have whatever we want and can never be told off for doing wrong so these pansies think that they can cry it's unfair and destroy stuff.
It's the looney lefties that have decreed there is no need to stop bad behaviour nor does there need to be consequences for it.I’d hazard a guess that the football supporters in question are not looney lefties but Brexit voting, Xenophobic, Racists the type of people Boris Johnson and his mates are looking for. Pull the other one. It's because the looney lefties have decreed that we can have whatever we want and can never be told off for doing wrong so these pansies think that they can cry it's unfair and destroy stuff.

Football hooliganism has been prevalent for the last sixty years and probably longer throughout lots of different Governments. In fact Heysel and Hillsborough took place during the reign of Mrs Thatcher someone who wasn’t looney or left wing in my opinion. If society is rubbish it’s because it consists of lots of rubbish people who are largely ignored until election time when they are fed somemore rubbish and pointed in the direction of the polling booths. It's the looney lefties that have decreed there is no need to stop bad behaviour nor does there need to be consequences for it.
Perhaps you should speak to a few teachers, they cant discipline unruly kids, even if they try the parents then kick off, not allowed to have competitive sports days as little Johnny will cry if he doesnt win, so no winners or losers.Football hooliganism has been prevalent for the last sixty years and probably longer throughout lots of different Governments. Of course there was a few yobs about years ago but they got a clout with a truncheon, thesedays the louts would get a nice big payout.
The standards of behaviour etc have plummeted since the 60's
Since 1945 Labour have been in power for 30 years and the Conservatives 45 years plus ( including coalition) plenty of time to right the socialist wrongs in education, healthcare, immigration etc if they’d wanted to. What Governments have done is followed the public not led hence how society is today. Boris Johnson and a lot of his mates are prime examples of the fact that a good education is nothing without a moral upbringing. What we saw on Sunday ( not from the players ) is because of a lack of morals in society if kids aren’t brought up correctly they have no hope and judging by the behaviour of the fat stupid middle aged blokes we saw on Sunday we are a bit too far down a bad road to turn around.Perhaps you should speak to a few teachers, they cant discipline unruly kids, even if they try the parents then kick off, not allowed to have competitive sports days as little Johnny will cry if he doesnt win, so no winners or losers.

After the match my Son texted me telling me what was being said about the black players who’d missed their penalties and it started me thinking. This isn’t casual racism but something that’s endemic. I remember watching Man City v Chelsea on TV and Raheem Sterling came to take a throw and the anger and hatred on the faces of the crowd was really something evil. My daughter shared a flat with a black girl in London this year not someone from the hood but from Suffolk and Ipswich School studying at Imperial College but my daughter was saying if they were on the tube or in town she’d often get stared at in a very unpleasant way or ignored in a shop. I’d always tell her don’t be daft or say that it was another black person with a chip on their shoulder now i’m not so sure. After the end of lockdown my daughter and some friends were sat together in St James Park in London when some kids came out of a fenced off part of the park and ran off a couple of minutes later the police arrived and started hassling her and her friends who were all white bar my daughter who really isn’t dark but because the kids who’d come out of the park weren’t all white they’d decided the nearest darker kid must be one. Luckily she was with friends and luckily she is well educated and well spoken but if not i wonder the outcome. I’ve always believed England is a special place but i’m not sure a lot of the population are worthy of it.It often surprises me (maybe it shouldn't) when they round these yobs up, how many come from fairly well off backgrounds and have well paid white collar jobs. Just appears to be a sport for many of these brats.
Would that be the scottish fans that wrecked the goals at Wembley.British football fans from Scotland, Wales and NI, can follow their teams, have a bloody damn good day out, drink way more than is healthy, but still behave in a manner which brings credit to themselves, their team and their country.
English fans however, brought up in and living in the same British society and social norms, invariably disgrace themselves in the eyes of the whole world.
Can anybody explain?
Yes then you grow up. These people haven’tDuring my time at college, in a well respected university, it was often the case that at weekends there would be endemic binge drinking. They would smash up our very own facilities, bust the toilet pan, the one bath we had for 20 people, pee out the windows onto to people in the street below. I often had to refit the waste pipe etc, being the only practical person on the corridor just so we had basic facilities. These were students from Eaton, Harrow etc. But it was tolerated by the college management. Probably because they relied on the cash they brought with them. I have never understood this. I really never have. I have times where I have had a few too many but to bust up your own facilities, abuse those around you quite seriously. Well it seemed like a disease to me. A sort of return to barbarism or the jungle. I just don't understand it, but its real enough.
But Rob, you a deflecting the tenet of Lowlands comment. Lets leave leftie politics to one side. If, and it is an if, Lowland is correct and these 'yobs' are Brexit voting, xenophobes surely they would be so well behaved and not be dumping litter and doing thuggish things. But no that is what they did and thus the effect of leftie politics on policing is irrelevant.
Similar to Priti Patels immense reversing maneuverer since being called out by Tyrone Mings - good ness these Tory politicians do struggle with literate footballers.
Hey ho.
