Thislex toxicity to cats ?

Anyone had any issue with thistlex , have a small paddock to do , but family has a load of cats , and wife is a bit enviro . have often sprayed with sheep still in an extensive bit with no issues , but did knacker a cat years ago with dilute sheep dip , because cat licked it off its feet .

Give her a pair of welding gloves and a wheel barrow, and by the time she's finished pulling them she'll be a little bit less 'enviro' and a whole lot more understanding as to why we responsibly use herbicides.

Jeyes? I didn’t know that, what is it that would make brake fluid or either attractive to cats?? Thought it was anti-freeze cats liked??

Ah, yes - antifreeze. My mistake.

No idea what it is in Jeyes that's a problem, but I had cause to check earlier this year (don't ask).

Errr, what’s the connection between the nerve agent that is OP dip, and the selective herbicide Thistlex? Or are they all just chemicals, so must be ‘nasty’?

never know with any chem wether its harmful , trouble with cats is they lick it off paws etc , didnt think dilute op was as nasty as it was , we all used to dip the dog at some point , the cat went blind for 6 weeks when it walked across the yard covered in dip , had lasting effect as well like ccn in lambs
