Threadlock choice high temp

Hello All

The straps gave up on the from prop shaft of the tm310 the other day. New straps, bolts, spider and yoke for the front diff turned up today. I think we used the wrong thread lock on the straps when we did the brakes the other month so any advice on what sort to use? JCB suggest jcb threadlock and seal which I have but might be a bit ancient (3 year old), last time we used the equiv of loctite 243 and I think the high diff temp cooked it out.

Anyone know the torque for the nut that holds the yoke on the diff? A few names that might know ;) @ACEngineering or @davidroberts30 maybe.

It’s not in the tm310s book as the axles have their own manual separately.

Thanks

bolts that hold the Ujs clamps on? IMO I don't use any Loctite normally on manitou never have any issues, so long as they are seated correctly and the yoke and clamp is not worn no real reason too, common for the caps to spin in the yokes of the manitou so I have taken to rubbing a file across the yokes where the clamp sits and then also the same on the clamps just to true them up a bit, then some Loctite on the yoke and UJ caps.

as a rule you have blue Loctite which tends to be medium strength and then red which is high strength, but there are endless others if you want to get anal about it! they all do a similar job just some are more specific than others.

I buy vapormatic Loctite or bandloc etc from sparex or were ever, no point in paying genuine Loctite prices it don't work any better.
I do have some Forch red Loctite I buy which is a thick gel hard to get out the tube but is useful for larger gaps along with some activator(y)

Loctite have a tel technical helpline to give advice on all their products. I have used it several times and they were really incredibly helpful.

Have you taken any land out of production from last autumn?
