Now I only need to buy a heat exchanger.
The unit is an ITL and the serial number is 460 043 6 00077.
Is this what you referred to as 600 ?

Trans oil cooler / heat exchanger I suspect will be common, not necessarily dependant on model of box, key thing is the fittings size etc. suit your machine, hopefully without mods.

Check dimensions of your old one against the one I linked in post #58 above from John Conaty?

Thanks, I will ring JConaty. it should be ease to solve, I have everything out.
Its 14 inches long & 2.5 inches diameter. inlet & outlet of 16mm and pressure switch or temperature switch which was naturally disconnected.
Just curious if the serial number is the SS600 that you identified?

Dunno tbh. The model no. of the box should be on the plate too before the serial no. ‘Tis on mine.

Thwaites themselves or Thwaites parts dealer (possibly JCB spares too) should be able to x-ref it from the serial no. should you need parts etc down the track.

V.good news it’s working again though.

Out side the perimeter line surrounding the serial number is a number in very small font:- 461/00102.
Had a quick look on parts.jcb.com for you and unfortunately I can’t get a hit on either of those numbers. That’s not to say Thwaites or JCB dealers can’t, just that I can’t off my laptop off the internet late on Saturday evening : / )

The serial number on my PS750 box is 460/81860/08/1513 - I can get a hit when searching using “460/81860”. Ditto for the transfer box which has a serial number 460/55000/15/17563 just searching on the first eight digits brings up a hit.
