Thwaites dumper stearing ram seal.

I have Thwaites dumper stearing ram that is leaking and I want to try and remove it for repair. The joint at the cylinder end is also very loose which I also want to sort if I can. I removed the split pin and top nut and the spherical bearing seems to be fused to the ram pin. Can anyone advise best course of action from here? Photos attached. Thanks, Justin

Thanks, I did try without heat but I'll try again with. if it wasn't fused, would the pin just knock down easily or would the ram seal cause any resistance? I'm assuming the ram seal is knackered and that's why it's so loose.

If you look at your diagram is no 13 a shoulder as such ?and will the pin come up not down

Thanks, yes I noticed that this afternoon. I’ll try and get the bottom nut off tomorrow.

I managed to get a spanner on the center of the ram pin after cutting the seal to get access. The nut eventually came off and now I can see why it was so loose. Is there anything I can do to sort this? Thanks
