Tillso rake n roll

Has anybody here got any experience with the above? I am particularly interested in the smaller 8.5m, 4 row machine. We have a homemade simba unipress/3 row rake which works pretty well but could do with the extra row and a little wider would allow me to get rid of my folding rolls(hardly used now). Any views, good or bad please, though I know many would say just buy a rake I really value the rubber roller on the back of our unipress and don't want to go to a mounted tine only machine.

Yes I have a 12m one with a Vaderstad bio box on. It complements the Claydon drill I have by leveling and rolling down after the drill at an angle to the drilling.
I also found it useful when I use to scratch till stale seed beds. It followed a knockering Verio anot two weeks later and made cracking stale seed beds.

ok, thanks. Do you think the tines work better for being quite upright, not carrying too much weight as with some mounted machines maybe?

The roller on our unipress is much kinder on the surface, it consolidates enough for us without making the top too tight. It cleans better than a rib roll, is happy to travel at rake sort of speeds. I think the Tillso roller is tougher than ours. It is eye-wateringly expensive though...…...

The rubber roller works well in damp conditions and is more of a light patting down than a heavy roll which is good in fragil conditions when you need a better environment for pre-M chem. Only use it after Clayton now to cover and roll the slot after drilling osr and beans. We now have a Sly Boss so expect to do less with it.

It doesn't like osr stubbles as the stalks can rip open the rubber after a few years. Found the same to the front wheels of the tractor also.

Last year we bought a second hand 820 verdistard referb. Carrier from Cambridge Farm machinery with the cross cutting disc. Really like the shallow 1" job it does pulled by JD 6210.

Yes but not convinced to gain much slug control. Seems wrong to burn so much diesel with mutibal passes. 1 or 2 passes with the carrier would be better. We did nothing to osr stubbe this year but to wet to drill as the new drill only arrived after the heavy rain started.
