Tm130 won’t drive with pto on.

Hi there having difficulty with a tm130 not driving with pto stitched on but drives fine with it turned off. F77 comes up and f81 this was an intermittent problem but seems to do it all the time now. Any ideas?

I would be tempted to say your pto clutch pack seals are gone or a major leak between pto solenoid and clutch pack so when pto is engaged you loose pressure to all other clutch packs.

It could be the PTO brake. We had one fire the piston that out which allowed all the oil pressure to escape. I can't remember though if it was under pressure when the pto was on or off.

It’s under pressure with PTO off. You can check it by cracking open the banko bolt on L/H side just above PTO shaft where the assistor ram is. Crack it open with engine running and PTO off. If there’s a flow of oil there the solenoid is working and directing oil to PTO brake.
