Will lift implement ok but will only lower it very slowly making a ticking noise. Whats gone wrong please?
Hi their could be a number of faults that cause this problem some of which could be very expensive to fix so I will start with the easy ones first. The linkage lifts so you have power to & from the linkage ICU, is the lift lower switch in the cab worn? Try removing the leads from the switch & connecting the live feed to the switch to the lowering cable does it now lower? using a multi meter check you have power in the cables, if you do move to the soloniod on the valve block. The center one has lift / lower soloniod coils opposite each other check if you have any power their, if you do on both connections try exchanging the solonids coils with each other. If the linkage now lowers but does not raise you will have faulty solonid coil which is the only part you will be able to get from New Holland for this valve slice other than o rings or a complete valve slice which is many££££££££££££. Also check the fender switches are not faulty as they easily get damaged or badly corroded. ICU can be repaired by Kings.

Have a 150 and it needed a new centre edc slice for the lift lower if it’s electrical lift control. If you get a punch and push the button in the middle of the solenoid and it goes down like it should do then I’d say you either have electrical solenoid issue or slice fault. Our slice was about 1100 ish 3 years ago
