Been very busy past week or so.

Sorted out the sheep the other day. We finally have a pedigree flock of Lleyn sheep!

Today on my daily walk around the farm guess who I saw? Priscilla cool as a cucumber stood in the middle of an overflowing ditch (in progress of draining, very shortly) chewing the cud.

Then after all my jobs I managed to play with my crazy welshies lol

Not technically work, but after the couple of weeks I've had it's nice to enjoy your animals

Spent the day at the airport replacing the front drive shafts on one of there ford rangers.
Gators have spilt and the cv's have gone notchy so got some exchange shafts coming.

How come all the welded joints and not bolted together ?

I don't know, I just got the call yesterday to go and weld a couple of cleats on!!. Turned up and the 6 intermediate beams were on the lawn!
Who ever had supplied the beams told them it would be easier to weld them on site, and the architect mustn't have had confidence in his tape measure.
As far as I could see there was no reason why it couldn't have been fabricated to bolt together on site, it would have been much quicker to assemble and install.

Odd day today. Up early to feed our cattle then off to dad's to check and feed his. Back home for breakfast then all day at the first day of the Welwyn Hatfield local development plan examination in public.

Home at 18:30 to feed our cattle again before dinner then helped this chap into the world

Went and helped out a neighbour who was snowed under. Got put on a Fendt with only 200 hours on the clock! Scary, far to many buttons for a cattle farmer.

Nice bit off kit when I got the hang of it though.
