Some of you guys are far too clever at hooking up trailers behind others!! It would probably be quicker for me to make two journeys than double up trailers!
Only takes about 10min to stick the trailer on and throw two chains over the handler, it’s quicker than walking back to the field when you’re on your own.

Technically you shouldn’t have your second trailer loaded:oops:, but as I’m sneaking from field to field locally and it saves dropping the spreader I just stick loader on the back:sneaky:.
If we’re taken both spreaders any distant we put the spreaders together an stick the low loader on the other tractor if that makes sense(y)
You are actually legal towing the loaded trailer with the spreader assuming you have light and brakes connected.

Rescued a seagull today. Had a hook frm a fishing lure stuck in its beak and the other hook stuck in its back. Flew off unharmed but not without pecking me first. Bloody gratitude for you! :cautious::ROFLMAO:

Only if the trailer isn’t loaded!
It has brakes and lights connected though(y)
Not according to Mike Braithwaite. He illustrated this with a picture of a trailed potato harvester pulling a 10t ish trailer load of spuds. We all said that was nuts, safer the other way round and he said yes, but only legal if the trailer had no load whatsoever. :wacky::wacky::wacky: Best practice is not always legal......

I’m not 100% on the legality, all the axles are braked and all the lights work though, it also seems to follow the tractor better that way round.
Hopefully I’ll never need to defend myself in court about it;)

Hooking them up isn’t the issue. It’s backing them up that takes me at least 6 month

Hooking up with two people maybe, but think i’d take forever on my own. Maybe it’s easier in real life than my brain suggests.

Backing it isn’t too difficult if they have the same size drawbar-though generally have to tell myself to do the opposite of what I think is right. Had to tow a big trailer followed by a tiny one many years back-that gave a steep learning curve.

Next time I’m hooking them together I’ll take some pics for you, it’s a lot more simple than you’d think.

My old woodwork teacher would have spat the dummy out with the direction of those braces. But that was a daily occurrence dealing with us for Three years. We even threatened to go back for another Two years, but thought it unfair .............

Love the quality of your woodwork, brings me back ...............
