I've just ordered a Hotline Phoenix 1600 with the mobile control interface for quite a bit less than a Rappa 15000i with the remote. It'll let me switch it remotely but it'll also text me if the line voltage drops or is shorted, ideal as I'm about to use electric fence near the gypsy camp for the first time in 20 years :nailbiting::rolleyes:.

I'll let you all know how I get on with it once it's in use.

you need a sim card for texting bit ?

Couple of weeks ago. First of three new robots, plus move existing one and take out one temporary out. Old barn taken down, replaced by new. 10th robot started over 3 farms in 7 days. Third robot room hidden by catwalk.

Rubbish trucks. the RB44 was taken out of service for years while they tried to sort out the chassis/braking problem. Never sorted out properly, so they sold them all off, some with stupidly low milage 1000-2000 miles quite common.
Take care, do not drive it hard on windy roads!

I'm under no illusion they're any good. That's not the point!

I always wear my seatbelt, so I won't fall out of the driver's side window if I have to brake hard, causing it to violently swerve to the left. Nor will I travel without a fire extinguisher, in case my left trouser leg catches fire after touching the transmission/engine tunnel, as it's hot enough to melt the sun.

Visibility is poor, too, unless you drive across a 4% incline. Then, you get to see a full 360 degrees of earth, sky, earth, sky, earth, sky...
