moved a few silly bales. Straw wasn't dry enough to go into squares. These will live outside better anyway as straw shed is full of hay. :banghead::ROFLMAO:

After lunch, as we're relatively up to date with land work for the time being. we thought we'd set about sorting out an annoying wet hole.

The previous occupant had been ploughing around the wet bit for so long a Bush had grown. We've been going to do it but just never get time until now.

Bush out, dig out good soil, bury crappy soil,roots ECT, put back good soil then level off and install a new drain or two.

Found two separate drainage systems one very old 2in and a much newer and shallower 3 inch. Hopefully If we can dig down, find the pipe and break into it in a place or two we can get it out it's only blocked with silt on the joints.

If the previous occupants had just spent a little time on maintainance all this could have been avoided.
