I am sick of seeing flat stone-free fields where the only obstruction is the odd pylon which some of you with GPS still manage to hit.
Had a day dodging the rocks and knowes to get some silage down. This was the worst field. Lovely views, no broken blades and I was shadowed by 3 buzzards and 2 kites all day. What's not to like?

Sep18 - pits.JPG

Not TAW at all - lost my phone for most of last week..

Storm Ali came through on Wednesday - 3 trees down, 2 double gate sets smashed, fences down, phone wires cut and about 20 sheets damaged on one shed roof - along with 20mm rain that day.

We finished silage just 2 days before that. Two pits - three cuts. 1st and 2nd cut were very dry, 3rd cut got caught in the weather and is a bit wet (- hence the effluent ).

I sometimes look at this thread in disbelief - dry, drought, dust???? It was getting dry-ish here, by early-July, but I have had 280mm of rain since mid-July.

The last few fields have had quite a bit of greenery in places, so decided to pull the sieves for a clean.

How's the Class going?
SHHhhhh
Don`t ask questions like that
apart from having new head gasket and turbo, and 3 of the 4 spools not working correctly
And the slight sound of a rumbly bearing in the pto somewhere
Then its ok(y)
Might as well not bother starting it tomorrow now, its bound to explode

How`s the Massey going??

As it’s turning a bit cooler, Mrs adeptandy hinted that it was getting a tad cool mornings and evenings in the new place
So guess what I’ve been doing today .........

Yep, fitting the boiler, had been putting it off since we moved in, but Autumn is creeping up fast

Wouldn’t have been a long job, but hadn’t got any pipework in either

Ah well, will have to finish it another day, just the LPG to connect and the wiring to do, back on the discs in the morning, W Barley to drill soon [emoji41]
