After plenty of bits of feeding stock in the rain including these keen heifers.

Spent a happy afternoon in the workshop finishing a gate and welding up a drain cover and reflecting that, with about 3 weeks hard work, my workshop might be as tidy as @Robert K 's for about 10 minutes.

The brand new Dead wagon turned up with the fancy hooklift to empty the dead bin and minimise mess, pity he came on the unit when he knows that he should have stayed on the road

Getting too old and unbendy to dig out the bottom of silt traps by hand as I have always done.

Why haven't I done it like this before?

Actually the last time I did them I probably didn't have this digger.

Wondering about a new lid on this one.

Fortunately I made one yesterday.

The excitement lasted until the end of the daylight today. I know how to live....

It is worth fabricating a large “bucket” to drop into the clean pit then you can just lift it out to empty with loader? Better than shovelling and less likely to damage the pit with the digger.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.
