Good very pleased .. only a basic wrapper but a big step up from the old Lawrence Edwards ! That ones off to Brightwells sale next week !!how did the wrapper go ?
Afraid we don't have anything to put it next to for scale but for some sense of it I was stood about a metre higher than the tractor. I guess I could park the car in front of it...I get the feeling this pic does no justice to the scale of that whole outfit!! Is there a 7718S or similar you can park next to it? Some rig that!
I think she needs a bit of hp sauce on that! All looking a bit machinery and planty on here lately...... I present you with a cow......
There still a few of you guys around there still do your own silage? Bet it was interesting driving that home? Looks like a monster!View attachment 884054
Did some silage on Monday. Nice stuff but less than half the crop from last year. Still got lot of last years silage left over though.
Got the grass fertilised before the 6mm of rain too.
Today we went and got this home. Just over 2hr drive. Through Dundee and up the A90.

A few of us still have choppers but getting fewer I guess. That one came from @capfits and was replaced by a lely storm. My mate has a lely too. There still a few of you guys around there still do your own silage? Bet it was interesting driving that home? Looks like a monster!
The grab is really good, so much easier than a bale spike. I lift 2 with it no bother, it has 4 short teeth in each side, I grip the bottom bale with 3 teeth and the top bale with the 4th tooth. I also have a double height grab of the same design that I made at the same time. The one I have on that tractor was originally made for my MF550, and the bigger one I had on a 3CX. I'll try and send you a link to the pictures. How do you get on with that grab? Can you pick up two easily or would a longer one be better?
keep up the good work i dont think the HSE would approve of the scaffoldingNowt as exciting as some of you , but maybe better in classic earning keep or scrap heap challenge ,
Put 3600 kg through old waggler yesterday afternoon on wild bird strips all 26 of them , drilled another 7 acre of maize next door , and rolled it
Good job it’s all by hour
Oh and @bumkin wall nearly done might get some of top finished at weekend , hope not better if it rains
