First load of the year - you can tell with the residual hay from the baler.

I had a hermit last year, wanted alone time in a wood.
Years ago someone I know used to have a tramp woman hang around a very remote bit of ground he used to rent for grazing.
Rather than discourage her, he gave her access to a derelict but weathertight building there, used to take her some bits and bobs to help her out, and in return she fed the farm cats and was meant to use the phone there to call him if anything looked untoward.
Thirty years ago seems like a different world now! I was down that way this morning, and the grazing is all SSSI designated now, with all it's restrictions, and the really unimproved marsh over the road (which I think was a SSSI decades ago) is all developed into a massive business park serving the new port!
(This probably should be in a different thread for misty eyed reminiscing rather than here, especially as I didn't take a picture!)
