I was over the foreign side of Hereford this morning and could see up to one of the fields that have been cut allready, would have had a better view if I had a sunroof, as it is, I have a cricked neck!
If you mean the one up above the pipe factory ...the OH refused to tow me up the bank with the baler this year so I baled it downhill .....not too funny !

I used to work on the Warwickshire/Oxfordshire border not far from Banbury back in the days of trailed foragers with the trailers a swath or two down the slope, 14' combines cutting 9' at the angle and then a conventional baler with a McConnell Balepacker somewhere out there behind you!

Was offered this months ago as a non runner as I had another one the same. Only got to collect it over the weekend due to all that’s being goin on! Had a go on it yesterday, Ignition key brocken and carburettor full of rust!! Cleaned the fuel bowl, float valve was stuck solid in the closed position and jet was blocked solid. Battery off the other one and fired up straight away on some very iffy smelling petrol that was in the tank! Need to sort a main drive belt for the deck now, this one’s a twin belt and one belt is a double side drive! Belt is long gone and from all the belts on ride on mower sites on the net none of them list or show the size!!! £35 a belt seems excesive for a free ride on!! ???

Great little mower the Murray. I have the same 125/102 and having bought it second hand 18 years ago it still runs like a good un. It does a lot of work but I keep her sharp...by lifting the front wheels up on the lip of the transport box to take the blades off - H&S might not like it, but I tie the front axle to the top link...
I had to replace the long belt too. Can't recall where I got it from but I reckon they are easy to get as it's still the same deck design on the current Snapper or Murray (same machine but different labels...oh and the Snapper is £500 more for the privilege of being red rather than the current Murray colour which is grey!)

Yes the belts are available easily but I always source bearings and belts etc by size rather than to directly fit a make/model as you can have them for pennies if you can identify them! My measurements with baler twine is not making a lot of sense for an available double sided drive belt!!
