Lucky you didn’t make the bales an inch or two bigger for the new trailer My B&B cattle man now has two trailers like yours from DS I presume. This years rounds didn’t quite match the length so the thripple had to be leant out.View attachment 899996Finished straw carting, last year had 1151 bales, this year had 652 bales off the same acreage.
Yes we are pleased with the trailer, very well Made and value for money,it’s 28’ so the bales fit just right.Lucky you didn’t make the bales an inch or two bigger for the new trailer My B&B cattle man now has two trailers like yours from DS I presume. Used to have a dp 7 d2 and it was adog to set up. Sonny Smith came to the farm for a plough set up day for the training group. My plough always took to muck ground with the front furrow, Sonny said that the frogs were bolted on and I should unbolt them, hold in place with self locking grips and weld them on. Worked a treat after .I've got a dp7 and it's a pain to get right, I went to the trouble of increasing wheel track width by 2 inches and it now ploughs worse than it did before.
It seemed to like the fact front track was slightly wider than rear .
Now they are the same ploughing is worse. Front furrow measurement is correct but front furrow takes too much .
Looks more like you needed a sledge hammer ,not a stone trap ,surely that rock didnt go over the bedView attachment 900286View attachment 900285
