Picked another tonne of beans this morning, then went on to plant a couple of acres of romanesco and calabrese.
It would appear that we are ticking a number of diversity boxes at the moment! 😁

I know they’re not always popular when they land, but another bit of diversification this evening:

:( poor thing.....those tags will not identify the pigeon.....the green ring on the leg is an electronic race tag....like a rfid.....when the bird passes over a scanner pad at the loft it'll record the time and identity but only to owner and race officials.....the yellow rubber band is also used for race timing.....it is removed back at the loft and placed in a special clock that will strike the time of arrival....later the rubber is removed and checked against a race entry sheet.....the band has a 4 digit number on the inside and 3 digit on out side

a racing pigeons 'life ring' is aluminium and individually coded

I’m leaving @slim shiny to use his toys to demonstrate straight. A few curves in the rows keep me awake while I’m hoeing! 😁
I guess the sheikh is looking at his options once oil is banned. 🤔

I’ll say now I couldn’t drive as straight as you have….so can’t exactly pull your leg too much!

Perhaps he might like to have a day with the cows…..it seems milk sheiks are all the rage nowadays!

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
