i would also be very concerned about those sharp edges / square corners and damage to the wire rope

personally, i would have dragged the rope somehow under the slasher & connected it straight to the tractor drawbar

pulling out B Double trucks, or 30 tonne cotton pickers, I am a bit particular about how things are done. A mistake can be VERY expensive, or deadly . . .
