Concrete block forced rotor up, and wrecked my wooden block rubber coupling bodge from a year ago, and messed up timing. So rotors off again hopefully new rubber couplings won't take too long to arrive....

After work this week been replacing an old collapsed one with 138m of 4” twin wall. Resembled paschendale at one point and I did get the excavator stuck last night. Which involves copious amounts of swearing, sleepers and logs. Dad did ask how we get the timber out I said in about July 2030 when it’s dried up :) but he could go and drag them out if he was that concerned, he decided the random old bits of timber weren’t suddenly that important :)

You use the same terminology as me when questioned like that 😄 generally it gets downgraded to something that can be "done another day" 🙈🤐

Anglia Grain Services here today cleaning another 20 ton of seed , looking like a good couple of days ahead so we should get another chuck of drilling done. Then we have to get it rolled , sprayed and fert on 🙈🙈View attachment 1174089

Almost looks like the same lorry went to @Adeptandy first then @Bob lincs afterwards.....and then each of you posted consecutively about it! 😂

Interesting to see both using Bailey trailers on the inlet.

Easy chaps to get on with as well 👍
I only rang them on Wednesday and asked if they had a cleaner in the area and the answer was no problem see you Friday morning. One of the guys told me they have 32 of these machines share a colour sorter with another company and are have another colour sorter built at the moment to be based at Scunthorpe.

They cover a huge area too. Happy to come all the way out over here. Same chap/lorry also goes to the Isle of Wight for a group of farmers.

The obligatory 'kitchen lamb' has arrived 🙄 (the clattery one from weekend). He's improved in 24 hours but there's a niggling feeling he's a bit 'special' 😕

Lots of other fun things too. Lambed the prolapse, a hung lamb, adopting a triplet onto a dead single, cow with milk fever, a bit more rain and a bit of sun too 😲
All sorted out by the end of milking 🙂

And a nice single to finish on 😍
