Tested the water with a bit of rolling today. Repairing winter's woes whilst listening to Jezza Whine on Radio 2.

Moisture is above the magic 14% but rain forecast, so we just going to keep going as long as we can & put it into an aerated silo on farm, rather than delivering it to Narrabri. Road trains don’t really work with backing up to augers, so dropped rear trailer off.

I got to play with this truck today 😁 ( I don’t have a Road Train licence, so can’t drive one on the road )

Went to a neighbours who was having a demonstration of a robotic tractor, direct drilling vining peas. It needs a low loader to get it to and from the field, though, and cannot reverse the drill into field corners at the moment. Quite impressive, 155 hp equivalent to 180 hp tractor, diesel engine running a generator, electric motors in the track final drives, electric pto.
