So, grain sorghum harvested delayed for a few days, we’ll just leave this sitting here beside the road till we get going again
Looks an ideal job for the robot, as long as it can sense things in the field that might bung up or smash the mower. It is the sort of job that could be done 24 hours a day, as there is no need for top ups of seed, fert, spray etc. We’re hopefully going to get ours going with a front mower soon. Have just fabricated a frame to mount the bumper in front of the mower!!

What a cracking job she's doing of her adopted rejectQuite a pleasant day really. Not as mild as yesterday, but fine. Caught, marked and ringed everything up to date, and tipped them into the 'lambed' field.
Did my rounds after milking whilst management had a do at dropping the lagoon with the umbilical (and still is). It's wet apparently 🫣
Found a ewe and lamb (marked as a twin so thought I was going to have to try catching it ) but heard a baa in the distance. Here you are

Success!
Until she barrel rolled it down the hill........twice
Grabbed it and chucked it in the shed after a bottle.

Found 2 more singles then finally, one pushing one out, but struggling. Managed to grab a lamb leg before she jumped up, but sadly it was dead.
What do you know? I've got just the thing for you

Now waiting for a call to stop the pump and pick management up, and I think the kid's pet sheep, Freda is starting lambing, so better have a look at that 🫣
Plenty life in them yet!!Those boards don’t owe you much
