My 1st ever attempt on at cutting hedges.

Scratching over stubbles before stubble turnips go in before it chucked it down with 20mm of rain.

And then I found the first calf of the year up on her feet. Out of my favourite cow.

I’ve had 3 days now fettling this thing, full flail head rebuild and lots of welding, new fails and rotor balanced, runs sweet now

Then packed all this onto the machine ready for the season!

Nawr wrong with supporting them, I wouldn’t want to play for them atm!

Does anybody play for them atm .... not seen much evidence of it

Sows get their annual nest clean out, they wallowed in the dung passage whilst it was being done.

They were happy to be back except for the ones prefering wallowing. There are 100 in there somewhere.

Managed another field of breaking up the top to fill in the cracks. If you look carefully you can see that I have done the left half.

This is getting tedious, next stop is the yard for 200 or so. It's taking too long going 6 miles one way and 4 miles in the other direction. If they come in for a month we might have a bit of grass to tup on.

Just fetched this little fellow from a small farm

6 mths old bull .

Not the day job but giving myself a moment of zen at the end of a workday converting trunks into rounds. 9Ah and 5Ah battery empty means job done for the day.

Once I have a bit more rounds I’m going to have to hire a log splitter as taking the maul to it will be too much like hard work.
