34 acres of spring barley tilled & now it's raining, has to be some reward for working over Easter.

Well done. There is a lot of undrilled ground in the SW. I spoke to a contractor yesterday who doesn't know which direction to turn. The type of year if you can get a few acres in between showers your doing well.

Got our Lambing Sunday in a couple of weeks. Looks like it’s going to be another busy one too. Good to do a bit of PR and bust a few urban myths.

RAAF station at Woomera.

for what its worth, the above crop was planted zero till into standing wheat straw. Notice how it has almost completely disappeared by now. Moisture, temperature & biologically active soils, crop residue breaks down very quickly here

Not posted much in thread for a while but after having had plenty of rain in the last month or so, finally finished making enough room in the slurry pit on sunday to get to 1st cut, so finally got to get the plough out yesterday and after a couple of "teething issues" it was going fairly well (yes, I know there is a wonkey skimmer )
