In wales the big dairy farmers intensive all year round shed based buying in food are having to export fym
Just wondering if same with pigs
Could be if not the acers to match with but i do one batch sfm and have 1000acer of my own to cover ….exporting wouldnt be an issue i have someone trying to buy it already , the arable guys like it .

Pig muck is good on arable ground but does require more frequent lime applications from experience. The high copper content on sheep grazing can be an issue if you get too liberal with applications. The nitrates in our borehole samples increased from 80 ppm to 120 ppm over the 30 years our pig herd expanded and has since returned to 75ppm over the last 27 years, since packing up the herd. This was using a straw based system.
