just had a mate ring me , he and his son were on the run, he said he couldnt belive it going through the villages he could only compare it to clap for the NHS it blew him away these are big villages on the urban fringe of leicester and loughborough the next generation have got to build on this , get it over farmers aint the bad guys!

This week not at work, I have been a very lucky boy to get to France skiing this last week with family and friends, the best weeks skiing I have ever had. Did not see a cloud all week, just blue skies and white capped mountains it does not get any better.

Today’s big repair job - fettling the Kitchenaid for ‘er indoors.
Five minutes with the multimeter showed that the fault was a broken wire. I had had to jump in the Sprinter and get some wire, the soldering kit and my box of connectors from the farm… but now she’s cooking (baking) again!

First dry day since Christmas ,recon another 2 days to get through it

Ill be happy to get them cut ,,have to wait another week before I can split them ,,the tractor and splitter are in somebody elses shed and they dont start back till the 10th ,that and its too greasy to get my trailer close enough
I can't even get the pickup to the stack to take them to the splitter and the ground is too muddy to swing an axe safely
