More great pics @Lowland1

So tell us, you seem to be able to come across plenty of wildlife but we always seem to hear that all those species are under pressure.

Is it that you just know where to go looking? Or is it as bad as the media would have us believe?

It's really under pressure . This is the Maasai Mara next to the Serengeti it should be full of tourists but it's empty which is great except if it doesn't make money from tourists then it could be chopped up for farming. On our farm we can exist with wildlife but many people can't. Long term it's not good.

You know it yes.
And are you a nervous wreck always looking over your shoulder when you get out of vehicle or walk across field :nailbiting:
No we don't have Lions or Elephants on the farm. I just think we're really lucky to see what we see. This is a trip to the Maasai Mara so my son can show his girlfriend a bit of the stuff that might be gone one day.

Had leopard, buff and elephant where I worked.

Not worried by the leopards or nellies really. Buff scared the crap out of me though.

I know of about four people killed by buffalo generally herdsmen coming across them in the bush. I know of a couple of people killed by hippo and another by elephant and a few injuries caused by waterbuck and warthogs but i’ve never heard of anyone being killed by lion or leopard or other predator. ( in my time here that is)

Hopefully got to the bottom of the engine light on the car, was about to change the DPF sensor when 1 of the pipes split in 2, luckily had a bit of hose the right size in workshop, so after a lot of swearing, some lost skin and a few bangs of the head it should be sorted, just need to borrow a code reader from neighbour and reset the light and hope it stays out, you can see in the green pipe in pics where the other pipe has been blowing out, bloody handy having a lift at work tho 👍
