I think I’m safe, he’s not that interested in getting a bigger pony Which is frustrating considering how good he is
He says it’s his ‘wild bull’ he enjoys aka the Shetland and not riding. He’s started riding my cob to try and sway his decision

You have just written a short version of my life’s history!
And loved every minute of it. Fortunately some of the horses were fast( ish) and most of the ladies were delightful!
Now quite content to get my equine fix hunting , rather than racing !
But I’d it all again in a heartbeat!
