Still got a big selection of Gedore and Elora sockets and spanners I bought 30+ years ago ,,never had one break or bend ,,they been hit with hammer ,,had a ring looped into the claw end to get extra leverage ,,they took plenty of abuse over the years

That's odd! I found a really really old snap on spanner in my granddads shed once, nothing wrong with it apart from the chrome, they changed that no questions asked, although they did say that's an old one! it must have been 30 years old at a guess? think a lot depends on the dealer!

I did wonder if it was the dealer, I'm not really sure why he is a Snap On dealer, he is't really happy doing it thus the poor attitude to warranty

I've got a set in the grain store , very handy for odd jobs, saves going to the workshop for a spanner, got a free set of screwdrivers with them too £40 ex vat at the time . [emoji106]

For those that still deal with them....

Brushed or brushless battery angle grinder? Have Li Ion makita stuff so makes sense to get makita.

Wont be used everyday but like to have decent tools that can be relied on!

Anyone spotted any good deals for them?
