Jabbed my ewe lambs today. Posted on another topic the price, but here it is again. Toxovax at 50/dose bottle size is £210.56 so £4.21/dose from Vet, same price as they charged last year.

They didn’t seem to have any production issues this year either, ordered last weds and arrived this Weds.

Ordered both from our vet,but they warned me that there was a slight delay with the toxo, sure enough there was. After ten days they still weren't sure when it would arrive so I cancelled as it would of been too late for when we wanted to put the tups in. Just used the Enzo which arrived within 3 days of ordering, hope I don't learn to regret it.IIRC toxo was about £4.75/dose but not 100 % sure.

Think toxovax is made to order because of the short shelf life.

expensive because its a live vax , we stopped doing it here ,now feeding (sealed) haylage pre lambing and the hay the cats have been on post lambing (fresh straw from off farm for bedding) . still could be a time bomb waiting to go off though .

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
