We brought a lwb a month ago and it’s a really nice vehicle to drive and very well built . We were going to have a hilux but for similar money this seemed a better buy .

That was my first thought. Which idiot at Toyota thought that a commercial vehicle would be AOK with such a pish-poor interior? Leather seats should be standard on every car at this price point. Can yo buy that thing and change them?
I got a quote for leathering seats and heating them on lwb, it took the price over that of the Hilux.
IMHO the ride on longer journeys is more comfortable in the landcruiser but the majority of mine were not, so plumped for Inv X Hilux. And any spills of hydraulic oil and fuel is contained in the back😉
