Tractor driven crusher

I bought a herbst in January this year and it’s right what people have been saying, you need to be very careful loading it, one blockage to me over an hour to shift. They have there place but you need to change big money to get return and even the construction boys don’t want to pay big bucks for a days crushing. Got the hang of it now but I look at every job before pricing to make sure it will go through. The material needs to be dry as it just sits in bottom of jaws.
I have one too. Have put a wireless camera on top of hopper, got monitor in cab of machine loading, best thing I ever did, have not had to unblock by hand since

I now have a vapamatic camera but find it keeps loosing signal. What camera do you have. Very true though when it works I very rarely block it

Is there nobody with a big crusher that will come and do the job . Just had 2000t crushed in 1 day probably cost £1500 for haulage/25t slew and crusher his fuel
This is the way to do it, big machine brings the cost per ton right down. When you see how quick the heap piles up compared to the little crushers you soon see that the self propelled wins. If you want to go contracting buy an older one, get it going right then hit the job quick.. This is a cheap price tho, being Aberdeenshire.. They just get on with the job down there, no messing about
