door time ..
I've bought the running gear for a double sliding door , single track , open both ways 1/2 1/2 .
I don't really want to hang it on a timber as the shed is mainly for fire wood , worried about rot ?
so thinking a channel , so 100 x50 how thick 4 mm or more

door 10'6 has a good over lap to stations so two 5'3 s
planning to mount it on the inside .

make door from 50x50x3 ? clad in flat galv tin ?
100x50 not big enough for a medium size sliding door,we use 18 x75 pfc for door beams

I bought the tracking stuff awhile ago new .

Thought easier inside after a guy recommended it out of way of facial ect but I've not done this b4
its for you and no one else, so you should do whats best for you,
as you have the tracking, then go for a sliding door, but you would be better with a heavier beam to carry the door, the last thing you want is it sagging and not running as it should..
so dont scimp on the beam, you will regret it for a long while, think i would use 6x3 RSJ at least
