I thought one of the selling points of red tractor assurance was that other agencies would take membership as a sign of compliance with regulations so you would get less inspections

It makes you wonder if RT have been telling farmers lies in order to sell their scheme................in which case would that make it ok for farmers to tell lies in order to pass an inspection? After all, what's sauce for the goose is sauce for the gander.

Well had RPA inspection this morning,no problems,manure management needs a bit more detail,hadn't put field no.s on plan and a couple of years I hadn't highlighted a couple of dykes.
I've got a decent NMP in place thanks to Aggrii,so that tick all the boxes,also
spray record's are very detailed.
The inspector was very help and not at all a jobsworth
I not a fan of RT but I does make you keep all your records up-to-date and she did comment that RT does help with her job,she didn't realise we were inspected every year with RT, its the smaller farm's that sometimes struggle with keeping record's she said.
I'm just pleased I've got a very good secretary that keeps my record's up to date.
