That would be my other choice along with an OMEF u couldn't remember the name at the timeMde engineering Koala Shears , have a 300 coming from recs on here
We have a 300mm shear with a rotator from RSL it’s a really good shear but I wouldn’t put it on anything less that a 13-14 ton machine. The shear weighs 680kg on its own add the weight of the wood and you could get in a muddle very quickly on a smaller machine.Looking at 300mm tree shears for an 8t excavator. She coukd do with a greaseChap who does some for me uses a TMK on an 8t, does a great job, he's now got it on a tilt rotator, but even before it was brilliant.
This was some coppicing 5 years ago, out of interest will get a picture of the hedge today...
