Just watched wardy’s waffle and I’m shocked! Got a new fendt coming soon and that’s got Trelleborgs, didn’t have a choice as it’s a stock machine. Saying that our trade in 2010 fendt has the same tyres and they’re the original ones and I’ve run them low while
Ploughing etc and they look fine with minimal wear too.

Don't worry.

If something does happen, you know not to be fogged off with its your fault for under or over inflation.

looking forwards to pictures of the new Fendt.

Yes good job it’s been highlighted, hopefully trelleborg will want to get back in people’s good books.
They'll need to develop a new carcass design before they get into the good books here

TM is a lovely quiet comfortable tyre, but last set cracked at the tread lugs long before they were even part worn

And, no, they never were under inflated 🙄

I can't see the name ever recovering to be honest, if it does it will take too long. More than likely they will be bought out, merge or change the name to start a fresh.

This has been going on from the Pirelli days!

Loader tractor here had factory fit Michelin Multibibs

Fronts were buggered after 2000h

Turns out they weren't rated for the axle load at 50kph 🙄

Been on Bridgestone VX now for 4500h. Grip better, quieter on the road, and hey're still less than 40% worn
This makes my blood boil, as we had it happen in the past. Actually we had a tyre deformation and when we spoke to the tractor manufacturer and the tyre company we were told that the tractor was too big for the tyres!
On a side note when speccing fancy tyres make sure the machine comes with the correct rims. We have been caught out with spending lots of money on Michelin Axiobib2 tyres only to find that the tractor isnt on the preferred rims and therefore you have to keep the pressure higher than the optimum. Tyres really are a complicated subject!

Are they not all part of the same group Pirelli,Treelleborg, and others
Pirelli made the TM series tyres before they sold the agricultural division to trelleborg. As I understand it part of the agreement was that pirelli stay out of agri for 20 years. So a few years ago pirelli came out with new agri tyres the php series. Never bumped into one yet, or heard much about them apart from press releases.

Had another 540 65 30 trelleborg crack behind the lugs the other day had the same problem few years ago on another tractor rep said never seen it before. But the tyre's are made in several different factory's the one I took off had made in Italy on it where as the one I put on had nothing written on it as where it was made probably just a code now will see if it lasts any longer .

Never seen cracks around trelleborg tread lugs before?!?!?

Presume they've never seen a nail in a tyre before either 🙄

I have Trelleborg 16.9’s on my Deutz.
They are full of cracks.
They look like sh!t but TBH they have never let me down to date and that is for more than a decade.
They do carry weight but I don’t run them at low 6 psi pressures as that would be silly.
They are tubed though as I’m cautious in that way.
I ask any poster if they have had a flat from a crack to date?
Even my ‘new’, now fifteen year old😮Starmax fronts are starting to show cracks.
