Trigeminal Neuralgia

Does anyone on here suffer with it or has suffered with it in the past? I have had nearly two months of intermittent severe pain in the left-hand side of my face, had MRI scan last week, apparently I have arteritis (I think thats the spelling!) swollen and inflamed arteries, one of which in my neck is pressing on the trigeminal nerves causing the pain.
I am taking various painkillers and anti-inflammatory tablets but as yet nothing seems to be helping much.
Just wondered if anyone on here had had similar and if anything had helped alleviate the pain for them.

My sympathy. I had a tooth problem years ago that affected the trigeminal nerves and the pain was dreadful. Alleviated by sorting the tooth out, but ordinary toothache was a walk in the park compared to that. Hope things improve soon.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
