How is it getting forward speed currently?does anyone know if you can wire the ezguide in to a delta 34i for forward speed
Did you make your own cable for thatI’ve done it with Ez Guide 500’s, 750’s and various versions of RDS 34i / PS8000 / Ceres control boxes. Currently using a 750 to provide forward speed on an RDS 34i in a sprayer.
Is the 250 able to export GPS data?
Yes the 250 can output nmea messages, it can also output simulated radar speed.I’ve done it with Ez Guide 500’s, 750’s and various versions of RDS 34i / PS8000 / Ceres control boxes. Currently using a 750 to provide forward speed on an RDS 34i in a sprayer.

@Slick @Alistair Nelson simulated radar will work with the RDS 34i. Is it a 9 pin plug on the back of the 250?
I think it must have come from RDS, as it will have an aluminium angled ‘db9’ (?) type plug to fit (clip in) the rear of the 34i. I’ll have a look in the morning.
Top socket. The bottom socket is connected internally to the SD card slot on the front for variable rate application work, so in effect the bottom socket becomes redundant when working from a prescription on the SD card.On your rds box which is it plugged in to the top or bottom plug?
Cheers I've brought a ezguide 500 and ezboom so just trying to wire it all in hoping I can get it to do varible rate liquid fert so top plug it I still thenTop socket. The 34i is a capable of a lot more than you might think.
Don’t forget if you’re exporting an NMEA message for GPS position to match your baud rate from the GPS to the RDS. I don’t think it matters what it’s set to, as long as both boxes match. I’m missing another setting: baud rate and ???
If you’re just using ‘simulated radar’ for a speed signal for the RDS then ignore the last paragraph.
