Trips to Agritechnica

Anybody know of any dealers or tour operators running trips to this years Agritechnica?

Field farm tours do them but it’s getting late now to get a good hotel on Center of Hanover. Mate of mine who’s a machinery dealer booked his hotel last November.

Whenever I’ve gone it’s always been arranged by field farm tours, not escorted tours but allways very well organised with information provided on all transport links

You can still book hotels that are up to 1 hour east or west of Hannover. The train connections are very good and on time. Hannover central has the light train straight to show and only around €3 return last time. Also hotels are far cheaper 1 hour away from Hannover. Return train journey would be about €15/20 ish.

A colleague of mine stayed in Hildesheim for the last agri technica , accomodation was cheaper and access was fairly easy by train.
She is a fluent German speaker tho, which probably helped a bit

There is never a problem getting accomadition in private appartments in the city . I've a stand at it and I havnt booked accomadition yet

That’s a long bus journey, we went to euro tier last year on a bus trip and it was a good 12 hours from where we caught the bus in Cambridgeshire.

Air b&b seem cheap. If you just google accomadition in Hannover they all show up. Plenty of private apartments still available , just make sure it's either city centre or near the messe show ground , otherwise you might think it's cheap but it could be in the middle of nowhere
