Is there any changes to the new drill
Not to the tine set up. It’s smaller things like tidier rear Harrow, wheel scrapers. Fundamentals are the same.

I saw that and initially thought it sounded cheap. When you look at it though there’s not much to it at all.Just seen this,

A 2010 1.5t front tank is 11k from weaving by itself so this is very good valueI saw that and initially thought it sounded cheap. When you look at it though there’s not much to it at all.
That’s just what I was about to post, what is the front tank alone worthA 2010 1.5t front tank is 11k from weaving by itself so this is very good value
Where is the weight to push it in?That’s just what I was about to post, what is the front tank alone worth
I assume the angle of the points pull it in but @warksfarmer would knowWhere is the weight to push it in?
Agreed. I was referring more to the backend or the business end if you like; but you’re quite right when you look at the whole packageA 2010 1.5t front tank is 11k from weaving by itself so this is very good value

Can’t remember if yours is a Weaving front tank, but if it is, is the metering system the same as on the GD drill ?The points pull machine into the soil. If anything the problem is holding it out. The front tank is to spread the weight more evenly in less than ideal conditions.

Amy pics of this now?In some horrible clay today. I wouldn’t be drilling this if we didn’t have this drill at this time of the year.
£15kHow much was it for sale for? Think it must have been sold as no longer there
Did you got any depth wheel in amongst the times . Any pictures ?Only just, wheat and barley over the last 4 days, nothing up yet so no pictures!
Seems like the principle works and it's definitely the closing blade which makes the difference. I don't like the big wheels on the back and will probably try to fit some depth wheels in amongst the tines over winter so it can be run in draft. Dry conditions here at the moment as well.
No, seems to work fine as it is , so it dropped down the priority list.Did you got any depth wheel in amongst the times . Any pictures ?
