Tumosan 8095?

Do they sell many
The main man is Malcolm I think he's called, he said at the time he had sold a couple of the new style ones into Wales to farms with eastern European workers but had done some upgrades before delivery adding air con and air seats 🙄 they sell some to Scotland up on the islands as well and from what I could gather around Yorkshire as the comments were they aren't pretty but they keep going 👍

You only get one body. You only get one life, and life is short, why you would want to wreck your knees, hearing or back with $hite like Belarus stirring and grinding levers at the same money as a good used decent tractor that will hold its money, be reliable and if it needs fixing, spares are available there and then, and better yet mechanics knowing how to fix them.

If misery like that is your thing 45 year old tractors are still out there.

I understand what you have said but I bought a older Deere just as a spare... so far I think we are in for over £3000 in repairs on stuff you just couldn't see when you went looking 🤔 no buggers fault just a bit wore out.
Would a Belarus have been a better machine ? Sometimes basic is best.

3000 would have disappeared before you turned the key in the Belarus.

Depends what you need it for, a small holding is likely a lot better off with a brand new Tumosan than a twenty year old mainstream brand, anyone can build an engine and a basic gearbox but even within the budget segment, some are much better than others, I remember a Chinese Fiat knock off was sold for about two years around fifteen years ago, absolute junk , Tumosan are well established at this stage and Turkey is a growing industrial nation nowadays

entirely different story for contractors but largest Tumosan is 105 HP anyway

Tumosan probably not the worst. But they did build the JX series case IH and NH equivalent and compared to the Italian JXU they were no where near as good. I’ve seen Belarus and been in one at a demo and they are awful.

I won’t defend Belarus as I’ve never sat in one or met anyone who didn’t say they were terrible

The problem with belarus, zetor, tumosan and armatrac is theyr too expensive to take the chance. That belarus pic i put up at around 40k isnt much cheaper than a 90hp kubota with 250 hours on so its not worth the risk
Zetor should not be put in the same bracket as Tumosan , Zetor aren’t cheap anymore for starters and secondly have a rich heritage, they were good tractors
