used to have 2 on the outside of the spraying tractor as couldn't see past the booms on the dual carraigeway which made for nightmare right turns. nowadays a camera would be a better option.

The beloved mode of transport for Mods, these aerodynamically challenged Vespas and Lambrettas used to be commonplace in the sixties and seventies, with regular gatherings of hundreds at seaside resorts where there was frequently verbal and physical exchanges of pleasantries with motorbike gangs of rockers and greasers.

Apparently a favourite passtime of rockers was to ride their high powered bikes up behind mods whining along the highway on their glacially slow scooters, then pull alongside and just kick them over. As you do.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.
