txt file extensions

I've just had a message in my in box with 12 attachments , all of them photos of work being carried out .(I'm told )All very well , except I can't open the files . they're headed Att 0001. txt and att 0002. txt , in sequence up to 12 . I'd be very grateful of a little help/ advice in how to open them . When I try , the computer "looks blank at me " and passes me on to notepad . Not a lot of good that .

image files are mostly in the formats with the extensions .jpeg or .png .txt is a very basic text file, they will open with notepad by default file will not contain any images unless they are ascii art....

either the sender did not sent images or your email software has done something to them....

Ask them to resend the images but without typing any accompanying text, or if they have to include text explanations, do it in a separate message ideally, if not then all at the start of the message rather than before and after each one.

Another workaround is to access the email via webmail rather than downloading it to your computer.

It's to do with how mixed text/attachments emails (MIME) are handled on the mail servers the messages are going through which isn't something either of you can change.

On Thursday 26th September, we’re holding a webinar for farmers to go through the guidance, actions and detail for the expanded Sustainable Farming Incentive (SFI) offer. This was planned for end of May, but had to be delayed due to the general election. We apologise about that.

Farming and Countryside Programme Director, Janet Hughes will be joined by policy leads working on SFI, and colleagues from the Rural Payment Agency and Catchment Sensitive Farming.

This webinar will be...
