Could direct it down to your feet as well

Always made me laugh when the likes of Ford and JD stuck all the blower vents in the roof of the cab, and none down by the dash or your feet

given that hot air rises.....
You needed screen demisting as all the gearbox heat had gone, (had one of the first where a heater was an option, soon had to be fitted!) anyway cold air drops, where did your chilled air come from?

Being better than it's predecessor doesn't make it pretty :)[/QUOT
It wasnt better, it was a quantum leap to car like luxury, the doors clunked shut better than some cars now. The roof had a "bonnet prop" so you could service all cabs things with ease under its roof, pity that isnt the case now.
sure it was the bees knees and we used to make fold up back windows with a steel frame

That's your man (y)
Of course he only has 3 cylinder Fords because he's got flat ground
Apparently they can't pull up hills ;):scratchhead:
A picture I found when trawling the net a while ago......my one with it's first owner.

Only one problem dear boy, the range box in a 15 used helical cut gears, as did all the other synchromesh DB boxes back to 1971, when they first introduced it...

others were still making crash boxes with the reverse gear positioned randomly in the center of the gate
Please dear old chap, do point out where I referred to a 1594 having straight cut gears? I don't seem to recall saying that. I did of course make reference to the 1594's diff being made of cheese, maybe that has confused you?

A pair of these, made from the same material as the 1594 diff, does help to contain the noise eminating from the straight cut gears

For someone so young, you are incredibly forgetfull

Have a look at the cab on this heap of junk.......with such easy access to the cab through the doors :LOL::LOL: the easiest way to get into this heap of sh!t was to scramble over the seat.

It's the only tractor I know that was designed looking into a mirror, with such a logical layout to throttle and levers, and a user friendly PUH.

My nomination for most impractical tractor ever made.
