Not necessarily, there have been bank accounts frozen and money confiscated In Canada recently, for people involved with the wrong kind of protest.
Don't think it couldn't happen here, esp with a cashless society on the way.

Here is a question, you most probably saw that "tank" swerve to run over the car in Ukraine recently.
Can you tell me if it really was a tank and not some other tracked vehicle. Tank sounds so much better than armoured personnel carrier.
Was it a Russian tank in Kiev when the Russians weren't even in Kiev at that time or was it a Ukraine military vehicle?
Did he really swerve across the road in order to squash a civilian car or did the clipped bit from the beginning show him cornering too fast and just out of control with an unfortunate car in his path?
Try and find someone who has driven such a vehicle and in such a state of hype and ask them if they can even see clearly enough to swerve and hit a car on purpose never mind be able to steer it that accurately.
