Had to deliver a load of hay about 18 miles from home in an area that I know and contract spray in but have nt been that way for 4 months and was very surprised to see a couple fields of un cut linseed and two more which were partly done ! Still standing but would think its a write off . Any other un cut combinables around the country ??
PS there is also 20 acs of straw in rows [ if you can call it that] in another direction I pass often !

Seen linseed being cut on way to Cheltenham New Year’s Day racing before. If it were mine I’d be tempted to try to salvage something

I have twice baled straw in feb, still in swathe, headland got baled when combined, completely untouched and bone dry. 1 field, I had to get a contractor to finish, due to the brittleness of the straw, when baled, some of the bales collapsed, belt baler - fine.
