Yes, I have identical here all due to soil type. It's slowly levelling up - think the rain we've had will make all the difference.

All like that here. Has come where the wheel eradicators have pulled up some wet. Filling in though.

Yes it’s the same here on North Yorkshire, this barley has been drilled since the 23rd of March and only had 2mm of rain on it so far.

Had that before, nothing you can do. Best seedbed possible but with no rain it's like this.

A decent drop of rain and it will even up. From what I can tell from your photo the seedbed quality looks more cobbly where the establishment is lower so perhaps the seed just didn't have enough soil contact to get it going.

Most crops will have key growth stages influenced by day length, so the unchitted seed will rush through growth stages and catch up. Did you have spring barley late sown in 2018? That all made it to harvest ok in a shorter window.

Trouble is every third bout of the eradicators is tramlines with nothing planted.
