Used herbert drills

Hi all,

Does anyone know anywhere to buy or any currently available used herbert pillar drills. Been looking out for dispersal sales around Yorkshire for a while but not seen anything. I know of a few advertised at used machining tool companies but not sure if there are expensive compared to machines at sales. What would a single spindle drill be worth as well as a multispindle machine roughly?

The more spindles the fewer customers, I have bought 4 spindle machines for £250 because nobody wants them, conversely a really clean , late single still has (a little) commercial value. If you can fine a 2,3or 4 spindle with 1 power feed and at least 1 manual feed grab it, you will have spares, no competition and a nice big workbench. Worth waiting, £400 should easily find one. Pollard would be better with no fancy wiring.

That sounds fairly promising as I was hoping for a 2 to 4 spindle machine with powerfeed. That also sounds like what I was thinking price and budget wise depending on condition. One 4 spindle I saw was listed by a machine tool trader for £775 which I thought excessive.
