Used quad bike advice

Looking for a tidy second hand quad bike to use when setting up daily electric fencing moves and a bit of spot spraying etc. Don’t envisage any heavy towing. Looking for 4x4 and reliability

There are a few dealers relatively local. Been offered a 2013 Honda 420 EV and a CF Moto so far at sensible money.

Not had a quad before. Any advice re makes or things to have or avoid?

Suggest you buy one you dont like, you will then not be too gutted when it is stolen.

Try and stretch to one of the current style honda420. The back axle and steering joints have been strengthened think 2015/2016

Suggest you buy one you dont like, you will then not be too gutted when it is stolen.

Or leave a large puddle of oil on the shed floor and a few major components and tools scattered about.
